Help for Extending the Work Permit

I am standing at 480 waiting for an ITA and my work permit expires in May 2016. Is there some way to extend the work permit? Do companies hire individuals and help with their permits? Any suggestions, appreciated.

The only way is to get a Positive LMIA otherwise wait for ITA...By the way your points are high enough in order to get ITA ...So there is a possibility of draw in a week or two..Hope that helps.

You can only apply for extension only if your permit is valid for less than 3 months. Your score is good and I'm pretty sure you will get an ITA before that.

480 is a very high score - you have nothing to be stressing about. Good luck!

There are over 5.5 months till the start of May 2016. All you need is to be able to apply for PR before then. Once you have your first AOR you can start the application process for a Bridging open work permit in the worst case scenario.
