Same timeline here, ghost email tow days back, still no PPR. seems like they send out PPR based on AOR date. When's your AOR shibaak?
I have everything in my signature.
I don't think it is based on AOR date. It is based on how much or less lazy the officer that checks your file is. You may apply sooner but get to a lazy officer. Or later but have a less lazy officer.
At the end it is bereucracy and all government employees in all countries are lazy!

The last statement made me laugh ;D ;D

I have been waiting since September 03 and still hopeful. They said within six months, so lets hope they deliver without any hiccups.

On this note, I have a gut feeling that CEC applicants and other categories are processed first before FSW comes into picture. Even there is a difference in processing of the FSW inland and outland. So it will all depend on your category and not the AOR date. Check the timelines for your category in other threads and you should have a good idea about what you are expecting. Also keep in mind that CIC is working on the Syrian refugees and have to process those applications too, so things might slow down a little. But keep the hope alive and keep us posted.

Its always a good sign to hear from someone who received a DM or PPR.

TGIF!

Cheers!!

I just got my PPR!

It has been a very hectic ride over the whole year. I was one of the people who applied last year under the old system and had their applications returned in February. Just feeling really grateful that my application got processed this fast. Was not expecting it to go through so quickly. My work permit expired in the summer and it's been quite a struggle figuring out a way to stay here till then.

I know it's tough for those still waiting to hear anything but hang in there! Good luck to everyone!

A strange thing happened though. Instead of sending the PPR to me they sent it to a lawyer through whom I applied for a work permit earlier in the year. I guess they mixed up the contact information.

I am not sure if I am right but yesterday when I called CIC to enquire about my decision made status, she told me that DM doesn't necessarily mean that they have taken a final decision on your whole case and might no be ready to issue the PPR just yet. Some of you who are waiting for almost 2 weeks now, got your DM 1-2 days after your BG check started. So I am thinking maybe that's what they are doing right now, which can explain why some people wait for almost a month to get their PPR after the decision was made and some people getting their PPR in just 1-2 days after the DM. My BG check started at the end of September.

Congrats!
This is amazing! I am so happy for you.
Just one question, what did you do when your work permit got expired? How did you stay in Canada?

Thanks

My Company agreed to apply for an LMIA for me and we applied for an LMIA work permit at the same time (before my PGWP expired). I am currently on implied status. The LMIA and work permit are still being processed. While they were being processed I managed to complete two years on implied status (already had 1 year and 10 months with my PGWP) and this bumped up my points to over 460 which got me an ITA in September.

Wow that's a good news! Im happy for you! Congrats!

I'm just wondering all that got PPR quickly are you CEC inland with no family member to sponsor? I think those people are the one who got approved quickly. But it's just me thinking anyways...

Yes, I'm inland, CEC, single and with no family to sponsor. I've also only had one job and worked there continuously in Canada. I also studied from Canada and have been in Canada for 90% of my life after the age of 18. I think all those factors made my application simpler to process.

Yes those factors made your application processed faster and approved.. In my case I have one dependent that is included in my application and I'm also inland, CEC and i've only been in Canada for 3 years... Anyways, the day is not over yet who knows the officer processing my paper will give me PPR soon! I'm just thinking positive here... Congrats again! :)

Congrats to everyone who got DM and PPR :)
I got a ghost email 30 minutes ago but no update in My CIC account. Anyone got any ghost email today?
