I called CIC today and agent told me that its taking longer than usual because of the huge backlog. CIC is clearing files in bulks and this will cause delay. She said normal time was 1 week but its 2-3 weeks now. This is all because of the audit on PNP files. Its repercussions will continue for...

Just print the email(PPR Request) and send it along with ur passport. Thats sufficient.

Passport sent today via Canadapost. Hoping to receive in 2 weeks My wife is in India so I have requested Ottawa to print her visa in Indian embassy. Any idea how long it takes to get reply from Ottawa in this case ?

Can we receive our passport from CIC at a different address than its on the file. I mean we have to send a prepaid envelope with our mailing address on it for the passport. Can that address be different than the address on file ?
