I guess CIC call centre should tell you whether they received the result but if you ask RCMP then at least you will know when they had sent the results to CIC. But it is really a waiting game from then on. :(

Today my husband's ecas has changed to decision made (his fingerprint was submitted to cic on oct 8) however neither my ecas nor our son's ecas hasn't been changed. Did anyone experience something like this before? Thanks, Christine

No, you don't need to do anything, RCMP sends the result to CIC directly within 5-10 business days.

My husband received it by regular mail and CIC also added a new line to his ecas.

I can't think of anything else why then it is still "in process" for you. Weird. I guess there is no other option then just wait.

I get you. I would tell cic the date of my trip and ask them to possibly not set me for an oath for any of those days but only after I returned to Canada.
