    Jan 11 Draw // 3334 ITA // CRS 459

Well, did not expect a draw yesterday, and especially didn't expect an invite! What a great surprise ;D bang on the cutoff my score, was expecting it to take a month or two at least!

    credential assessment from WES

Hi, This should hopefully help. It has a link within explaining how UK degrees should be sent. http://www.wes.org/required/document-submission-checklist.pdf If not, search for WES checklist on Google.

New Express Entry ranking system will be applied on Nov 19th (detail inside!)

Re: New Express Entry ranking system will be applied in Nov 19th (detail inside!) I know this is one of the earlier comments but I just picked up on this thread. It is possible to get a Master's without a Bachelors, as I have done so. In the UK, there exist Undergraduate Masters (or Integrated...

Ray of Hope - 44th Draw

That would be me! I couldn't post links at the time. That's the official place the invite volume and score cutoff is announced, as far as I'm aware it'll be there first before anywhere else.

Ray of Hope - 44th Draw

What would be really really helpful is if the break down volumes of people in the 400 - 500 score range by 10 point bands. There is a huge difference between people at 400 and those at 450.

OINP cut off score for 2017

You definitely can as I did so a few weeks ago. Once you click check status and messages, go to the bottom and click view submitted profile. In here are 6 sections, its in one of those. Go through each of the 6 sections on your EE profile methodically and you'll find it.

OINP cut off score for 2017

I read on another forum that you have to select Ontario and nothing else for a PNP nomination, and not 'all provinces and territories'. I have no idea if this is true (doesn't make sense to me) but i felt it was safer to select Ontario only, and nothing else. Can anyone confirm if they've...

OINP cut off score for 2017

For Express Entry, you can change almost any of the details you provided. Log in to the website, and then at the bottom you can see your submitted profile. On the right, click on check status and messages. This will allow you to change your EE details. Just remember if you make changes, it...

Ray of Hope - 43rd Draw

Im just hoping the number of ITAs increases, this is more useful in the long run. If the invites increase to 1,500 and then stay at that volume, the score should start to drop eventually. As we've seen, invites of 750 is not enough to bring the score down, and even 1,000 is not really enough to...

Ray of Hope - 43rd Draw

Presumably more points would come from IELTS? In which case it depends how many more points you could get and how confident you are of gaining the extra points. I personally think that if its only worth a handful of points (say <5) then it may not be worth it, but if you can gain say 10+ more...

Ray of Hope - 43rd Draw

Honestly its much too difficult to say. No one knows how many candidates have more points than you, and no one knows how many ITA's will be issued in the next draw or beyond. There are too many factors involved. Hopefully the next draw will contain at least 1000 invites again (hopefully more!)...

Ray of Hope - 43rd Draw

You'll still be very high on points (presumably 470 or 471) after your birthday, so as long as the invite volumes dont drop below 1000 in the next few draws (hopefully they'll increase them) I think you'd be ok. Hope for the best! FYI draws typically happen on Wednesdays ~midday or 1pm UTC, so...

EE Applicants with score 400 to 450 let's connect here

Depending on how you read the figures, IRCC may be right on target with their plan: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2016-03-08.asp The first row, Federal Economic—High Skilled, relates to Express Entry volumes (FSW, FST, CEC, but not PNP) - a target of 58,400. The footnote...

Integrated/Undergraduate Masters from UK - request for clarification

Hi all, I have an undergraduate/integrated Masters degree from a UK University. What this means is, I did a 4 year course, at the end of which I received a Masters, but no Bachelors. I have already had my course evaluated by WES, the result being as follows CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY...

Help with NOC - 4162 Risk Management Analyst

So I emailed the NOC guys explaining my list of duties, and also noting that it generally requires a numerate degree, such as Maths, Physics, Economics, Finance etc. They responded by saying NOC 4162 was a match. I asked for further details a) which duties of mine match with NOC 4612, and b)...

@tejasmhaskar, question for you if you can help - What is the job market like for credit risk type roles in Canada (specifically Toronto)? I see job postings quite regularly on Monster, Workopolis related to Risk in a broader perspective (i.e. compliance risk, operational risk, AML, etc) but...

Should I apply with this IELTS score to Express Entry Pool?

I had similar questions about my degree before I created my EE profile. During the EE application, I only entered Master's degree and noted it was for 4 full years. This gave me all of the skills transferability points automatically. I didn't need to explain that the 4 years was actually 3 years...
