@khan Yeah man, UofA is among top 5 in Canada, it definitely improves your chances of getting visa. Given that all other requirements you satisfy like IELTS/Funds/Establishment in your country etc. I don't think getting visa will be any problem.

@ashant In univ of toronto they must offer funding if at all they are offering an admission for their thesis based programs. I am still waiting for their results, seems like they disclose them quite late.

@ massacre I have not finalized yet. I have applied to other universities like Univ of Toronto and Waterloo. I am not sure about Waterloo but if I make it to Toronto, I will join it for sure and leave Alberta. Only results are awaited. But for now I have sent my acceptance to Alberta.
