For online application, once an application is refused, CIC will not request for your passport. Instead, you will receive a correspondence in your CIC account stating the reason/s for refusal.

it should be also in the correspondence sent to you by CIC in your first application. Otherwise, like in my case, I left it blank on my second application and still was approved.

Will proof of funds depend on the number of family members regardless if they are coming with me as an immigrant? Or is it automatic that once I filed an application through EE, all family members are included in the application?

Just out of curiosity, where do online application for TRV being process? When I say "process" I mean reviewed and decisions are made. Is it in resident country consulate or in Canada?The reason I ask coz I received an update with my wife's application on Saturday which is a non-working day...

My visa was issued last year and I have not even used it until this date..(due to medical reason of family member)...it will expire next year... I dont think there's such a 6 month rule..you can use it until the very last day of its expiration....
