We sent as much as possible as soon as we got the blue book. I think this helped get an ADR ... there was so much evidence. We then sent additional information before the time limit for the ADR ... and then sent more information before the time limit of our hearing. I don't know how it was...

ADR is just you (and your lawyer if you have one), a representative from the IAD and the Minister's Counsel. There is no one else ... no calls are made, etc. The ADR is meant to be a quick attempt at a resolution to your case. The whole meeting takes less than an hour.

There are no witnesses at the ADR. If you have a full hearing you have the option to have witnesses. They can either be physically present at the hearing or they can be called.

Careful ... if you apply and are not successful you will have to answer "yes" to the question have you ever been refused entry into Canada. That is probably a red flag when re-submitting your forms after successful appeal I think so anyways ... if some other member can clarify.

it takes quite a while to get the blue book after you file the appeal. I think it is 120 days ... not sure.
