Hi, I've also sent application direct to NDVO on 6th Feb. but after that no communication. I sent multiple emails on regular id as well as emergency email id. But same like you, no response. One of my friends who applied on Jan-13 received work permit approval mail today.

Hi O_Canada, Ya I have encashed it. It took around 7-10 day to clear the cheque in HDFC Bank. An outstation clearing charge Rs.100+taxes are also been debited to my a/c. Just check with your bank about the cheque status.

Mine is 06/02/2013 for OWP with supporting letter. Still no update. Waiting for MRR. Already crossed standard time line of 60 days. I raised Case Specific Inquiry also. Awaiting for reply.

Hi, Mine is an Open workpermit under PNP program. Your second question has been answered correctly by 'mapleplease' id.

We should only make case specific inquiry if we don't hear in 60 days. In my case still 6 days are left so I will wait for few days more.
