I also got the lines two weeks ago. Nothing has happened so far. Things are only moving for July 2nd review cases at a snail's pace with all priority given to EE.

Hi, I saw the timeline you posted previously and looks like you were 2nd review. I think that's why you got PR instead of requesting the physical file. There were a few other 2nd review applicants who also got decision made around Aug 19 and 20 like you did.

Wondering too. That way we could find out if our files have fallen behind someone's desk covered under an inch of dust without a single fingerprint since MR.

Nobody knows the exact reason. The most likely cause in my mind is that the VO(s) responsible for our cases were transferred to work on EE back in February and never came back. Under the stupid rigid system, no one else was responsible for, interested in, or even allowed to take it over since...

No I haven't. I called an MP's office once and they said email them my case but I haven't. CIC just tells them the same thing they told us at this point. Maybe give a call first if you want to try and see what they say. No need for appointment unless you want to visit them in person I guess.
