I have just called CIC and they were unable to provide me with any extra information, because the estimated processing time has not been exceeded.
I responded that it will be 15 months next week.

The answer I got: the current estimated processing time is 15 months. Website will be updated soon.
In case I got a lazy CIC agent I called 2nd time and a different person said the same thing.

Thanks for these info.
So, 5 months for AOR and 15 months for processing, make it 5 + 15 = 20 months. GJ CIC

CIC functions like a retarded robot full of mechanical bugs with zero human emotion. It is impossible to have a normal conversation with anyone anytime.

Unfortunately, since there is no guaranteed timeframe for processing CEC applications, CIC can change the timeframe to whatever they want, whenever they want. We are completely at the mercy of whether they feel like working on our applications or not. The impression I get is they only seem interested in prioritizing EE. Even BOWP processing times are dragging longer and longer. Not sure if this is due to the upcoming elections or what it is, but they have gotten incredibly slow, even for CIC. A colleague I know who applied under CEC in 2013 said the entire process took only 12 months and her BOWP took only one month! That type of speed for CIC seems like pure fantasy now. :(

Welcome to the game called bureaucracy. The first person to actually do something looses.

Guys!!! don't spread words, based on agents information, they were inconsistent in giving updates. Rely on data available with us and what is happening. lets see what is going to happen in this month.
