I get your points and yes those are possible. Even during regular non-election period, high-level officials rarely deal with the emails themselves. They have their assistants dealing with communications with the outside world, phone calls and emails. So we are not expecting too much but still...

Does that mean June applicants' addresses, job and school histories are more difficult to verify than July people? (we're in process for ever and they were DONE), and EE guys don't even need to be verified. Up to you if you believe in that. ::)

Nick, no offense, even if you saw some rules regarding security or background check somewhere, never believe them. It's all for show. I'm not convinced of the country of origin either. There are applicants from Iran who got PR faster than someone from the UK. Or, July and EE people came from...

Thanks for the update. Looks like they gave MP the same bulls..t they gave us. :( For us it's three months behind schedule, for some people three months ahead of schedule... Everybody could have been on schedule...

Understood. I tried the complaints form but you know their style of response. The good news from few June 9th people sort of gave us a little hope, otherwise I was proposing to write to the minister. Who knows...

Don't forget the whole process has been delayed by VOs, not by the email processing people. It is not that VOs have no cases to work on because the documents are not prepared yet. IT IS THE OTHER WAY. Documents are quickly prepared and ready but just sitting there waiting for VOs to sign.

True that complaints didn't work but it doesn't make the process longer, because email processing clerks and call center agents are just like customer service, VOs are the actual production team. Their duties are totally separate. Like if I call Toyota everyday doesn't affect their production...
