I think its worth in way as it would sayifur application is in process or not, at least this would give us peace of mind eh You can apply them online and you would recieve it by email or mail, what ever u opt for. it would take about 30 days to get them.

my eligibility check has not yet started, the notes just say that my criminal background check started on 14 november 2012.

Recieved my GCMS notes. It says Criminality Check has been started and the application is In Process.

I had sent few of my employers business card, i believe its good if you have them as it would be much legit. But if you do not i think its no big deal.
