    How to apply re-entry visa with AIP

    I am from a visa required country and I went to the US and gone back with only my closed work permit, I wasn't being sponsored at the that time though. I think it would be ok but just a slight risk.

    Ive been monitoring the processing time family class and it seems on the first stage approval they're doing a months time frame in 1 week time (from 11 months down to 5-6 months) in a few weeks. How short has this ever been? Hopefully it can go to as low as 2 months :)

    It's good to see that the processing times for inland applications is down to 7 months from 11 months when I submitted my application July 30 2012, my question is do I start counting 7 months from the day I submitted application or does it start when they actually start processing it? thank you

    Sorry to hear this, I don't know but usually when the immigration officer is a woman they tend to be strict and difficult. Male officers are more friendly and accomodating. Had a lot of experience regarding this.

    Processing time for AIP is down to 10 months from 11 months (website updated Sept 5, 2012) . Does anyone know how often this changes and what was the lowest number of months so far? A few months back I think it was 6 months.
