I'm technically an October applicant but AOR in November and we are still waiting. Fingers crossed for everyone!! An FYI, we waited approximately 3 weeks before submitting the medical and we also had to do the RCMP fingerprints so that may add some time to our file. :)

Not sure if this is helpful but we were in a similar situation in that my common law spouse did not qualify for any of my work benefits at the time so I stated in a letter that we did not meet the cohabitation period for my employer to consider him a benefit partner etc. etc. I did put him down...

Did you receive an email or was it strictly updates from GCKey and eCAS?

Hi there. We were never able to link our application so I would just keep an eye out on eCAS and email. Our AOR was sent to my email, and everything else (e.g. med request) was sent to the PA's email. Hope that helps!

We submitted PR application and OWP late July and the application was returned in September. We then resubmitted late October with the restoration. Probably will leave OWP as is just in case.

We submitted everything before we left the country and i followed up in the last week about OWP. Entry was fairly easy. No questions. No hassle. We really were gone for less than 5 days. They didn't specify what he wasn't eligible for but I assume it has something to do with status.

I don't have a tool to check OWP as we were not able to link so aside from the webform, I don't have another way of figuring out what has been completed. I assume it has something with leaving and reentering the country that changed the circumstances. Assuming OWP processing started in January...

I am having problems as well. I finally got in though.

We submitted the entire package in at the end of July when my C/L spouse's permit was about to expire and the application was returned to us because we were missing a signature. I followed up on Monday and received an email on Wednesday indicating we did not meet the criteria for OWP at this...

Just a quick update for those interested, our OWP will not be provided until we receive AIP. We ran into a status issue when the application package was returned to us in September and required restoration so I assume that is the reason why. I left a message via webform and they got back to us...

I haven't called to follow up on the status of the OWP yet but everything else seems to be moving along. I will probably call sometime this week.
