@Geno.uss We are landing in Edmonton. I'm just thrown off by the plain looking email. Everything else we've had from CIC has been on official letterhead and so forth. We are scheduled for first week of June :)

Thank you for sharing @MarcKay ! Ours is really informal looking and basically just text in an email so I wasn't sure. The content is very similar but not exactly the same. If I didn't know any better, I may have treated it almost as spam?

Hi everyone. So I think we just received our landing email but it looks like we skipped a few steps. Wondering if anyone has a sample email that they could share? The email was sent to the PA with date, time and items to bring to the interview including passport photos.

Hurray!! I called a few minutes ago and they're reviewing my eligibility. It also said that background check was still in progress but I assume that's the case until landing? Looks like things are finally moving along :) Does anyone know how long this step usually takes?

Makes you think! :p I almost kind of wonder if there is some sort of pilot project going on. For example, odd numbered months get processed one way and even numbered months get processed another.

I haven't been able to link my application so I called the automated service and wanted to give everyone an update - BCG still in progress and eligibility has not started. They did say no interview was required. App received Oct 24.

Me too. Oct.24. I assume bgc started Feb 22 as that was when they asked for RCMP fingerprints.

I wasn't sure if I should follow up but we haven't heard anything since RCMP fingerprint request in February. Did you use the number that's on their website? I haven't called before but I have used the webform.
