Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

One back to back draw may not do the trick. We need a little more than that. How about two back to back draws.

It will automatically update but not immediately. Also, if your points lower after ITA it won't be a problem. The IRCC officer will check if your documents support the points on the day ITA was issued.

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

There should be a rule that your score gets fixed once your profile is transmitted. Just like your points won't go down for a b'day after accepting an ITA, if you're waiting in line for your turn your points shouldn't go down for a b'day.

435 now. Was 440 in Feb. IELTS L,R9,S8.5,W7. Hoped rescore would increase writing to 7.5 but didn't happen. Actually I did pretty good in writing, better than other three categories and was shocked to get a 7. Don't want to try again.

Wait a minute, you received ITA in Jan with 439? What happened? Also, how will the PCC, medical expire so soon. If you got them in Jan, aren't they valid at least for a year?

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

even if you take IELTS, by the time you get a slot and get results, they could still expire. if PCC and medical aren't as expensive as IELTS in your country, then I would suggest to redo them when you get an ITA. P.S. My IELTS scores are exactly same as yours. You will have tough time topping...

Is your score 439? If that's the case why do you want to retake IELTS, unless you want immigrate faster. If couple of months won't make a difference just wait, you will get it soon.

They should have done a separate PNP stream draw. It messed up the whole cut off and predictions this time.

Hard to not lose hope as even with what you said the whole thing depends on competition and the number of people wanting to immigrate to Canada doesn't seem to go down much in 2018. With great difficulty it may reach 432 even that seems very uncertain. I am at 435 and today is not encouraging.

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

What magic is it going to do? There will still be 100 people per day entering the pool even without IELTS and with so many people waiting in line, the score may not come down more than a couple of points (may be 439/438) which is bad for people like me at 435. I was thinking a couple of points...

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

I was hoping that wouldn't be the case but guess that is true. 500 to 700 people from May 1 with scores less than 440 got nominations and jumped to 800+.

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

If your profile was submitted and transmitted properly before the time of the draw you're in. Normally this process takes about 24 hours from the time you complete your profile. You can keep checking all your emails and times on your profile or just wait for few more hours to see if you got an ITA.

Ray of Hope - 90th Draw

Shocking it is. Most people are saying everyone increased their score and go into 450s but I think you're right, it is the nominations which got people an extra 600 points. Hard to believe that 1200 people entered the pool with scores between 440 and 500 between May 4 and 8, almost like 250 per...

Ray of Hope - 89th Draw

You will easily get an ITA as soon as you increase your writing score even by half a point but a piece of advice, writing is the most difficult section to improve. Increasing every point requires lot of effort. Good luck!

Yes, it will be an issue if the results date or TRF is incorrect. Also, you will be in tomorrow draw if your profile is transmitted and the score is generated, usually takes up to a day.
