Hello :) Need your opinion regarding: Many old applicants (August - October 2018) are being asked to give medicals and all after their files get's transferred, while we were asked to give medicals and biometrics right after the SA. Why would that be different?

No transfer yet. Idts I have heard of any file transfer of Pakistani applicants.

It has been really quiet for those November applicants who didn't get their file transferred from Sydney, NS. I really hope we hear the good news soon!

I think I am in a similar boat. But I have never called IRCC. I think they'll transfer our files to Mississauga within a month or two hopefully.

I think it takes longer if the applicant has a different country of residence than their country of origin. I think travel history also plays a role; the background checks are longer for such applicants.

Yeah, they asked us to confirm that we'll live in Canada as soon as the PA gets his PR.

I got confused with the term "Out-land". In my case the sponsor and I (the PA) both are living in the UAE. 1. So does the sponsor have to live in Canada while sponsoring the PA? 2. Is the Sponsorship Approval considered a green light in this regard?
