This is odd. Yesterday people called the FBI. They were processing 16-18 of December. Yours arrived on December 24 and they have already mailed your report? Either they could not charge your Card or they simply have not yet processed...

Jithesh69, please note that opening apps does not mean processing. The fact they are opening Jan 9th, does not indicate they are processing Jan 9th. They are inserting app in the system, charging the card and so on. Only a couple of weeks later they finalize processing and mail reports.

Anyone who calls the FBI, could you please ask which date they are processing?

I am glad to report my card was charged on March 10, application received on Dec 16. They should be handling apps received on Dec 18-20, and processing apps received on Dec 3-4.

Handling in this case is processing. Sunday I received an e-mail from liaison saying my application is in the system (app reached FBI on Dec 16), so I believe they are opening envelopes received Dec 16 on.

I would say 11-12 weeks.

I am on the same boat. Deadline was Feb 16, sent all docs (State PCCs + My home country PCCs) and no response. I assume since they did not reply is a way of saying "we are waiting". Application is still In Process. So, I guess it's normal.

I believe the only reason CIC would not accept chanellers was the fact that FBI printed reports in blue paper with watermark. Since the Bureau started printing in regular A4 paper (JAN/12 on), there's no difference between channeler or from the bureau... My guess.

I got the third line (medicals received) on Jan 11. Still waiting for FBI PCC. So, no connection (on my case, at least)
