    if your name matches someone in Canada with a criminal record, then you may receive request for RCMP when CIC are doing your background check. I didn't get one but some people I know did. We both have PR now. Nothing to worry about except maybe a small delay in your application.

    You don't have the choice...CIC will choose for you. Most always you will be given an invitation under FSW.

    it is a separate system from MyCIC. google 'e-CAS' and input your Name, date and place of birth and UCI number. It is another way of checking the status of your application :)

    you keep under garments on and have privacy to change into paper gown for Dr. exam. You remove upper clothing and put on paper gown for chest x-ray. You are fully clothed for all other procedures i.e. bloods, urine, eye test, weight, height etc...

    check again in a few hours time, you should be able to pay then. It has happened to a few people including myself. Take a screenshot of the page if you do not get it submitted in time due to this fault/glitch. It will prove you tried to pay before your time was up. Good luck.

    It is expected that circumstances may change after submitting an application. The schedule A is the last step for most people before PPR. CIC should not ask for updated police checks at this stage in your application. As for your new employment, you did not include it in your profile, therefore...
