Thanks. It was a minor question about my name, from an agent I guess. I don't know was it my local office or Nova Scotia intake center though. It came from a private number.

I'm just wondering if anyone has a firm answer (if possible) on whether your application is 'in process' at the intake center or at your local office. I had guessed it started processing when your local office received it but I came across a thread here somewhere, where an agent told someone...

I was just answering "sideshowloki" about not being able to remember where he/she saw the info about needing a valid passport. Nothing to do with citizenship, I know.

I do remember that your passport needs to be valid in the last stages of PR. When CIC asks for passport copy before they send out your CoPR. It stands to reason that you would need a valid passport to land.

I didn't. Just typed normally. AOR received.

I have the exact same worry. Don't have any stamps in my 5 yr eligibility period, was unemployed for some of it and did not visit a doctor in that time. Hope it goes ok for us.

It took 89 days for my AOR. Lots of applicants received after mine, got it before me. It's hard to do but patience is key. Hope you get your good news soon.

I have a European Union passport and it has not been stamped entering Europe or returning to Canada, during my eligibility...

August applicant here - AOR averaging 3 months at the moment. 87 days for me. Hang in there and try not to panic.

I updated home address 3 days ago and went into in process today. It takes 5 - 15 days to update address according to them. Mine still hasn't updated but my processing seems to be coming along fine. Reason I updated is I wanted it to match my current driving licence that I submitted with my app.
