I think there's a bit of wiggle room. My medical expires in November, yet my COPR expires some time in December.

If you contact the specific office, they will send you an information pack that details exactly what to do and how/where to do it, as it may differ between border crossings.

Is it necessary to export and import a car on the same (from the US to Canada)? For example, I'm driving up to the border the day before I land, as it's a long drive. Could I export on that day and import on the next day when I cross the border?
