Waiting for PR CARD - 2015 / 2016

I landed on September 1st and still haven't received my PR card. Should I be worried? What number do I call to chase it up?

I landed on October 8, 2016 and received my PR card today, November 10, 2016.

My husband landed at the end of May and still doesn't have his card! Phoned at the beginning of September and got a very snotty lady who send they had sent an email that the pictures weren't right. Neither of us received that email until we hung up the phone from her! And there it was! Dated for that day! So went and got pictures done again, here in Calgary, measured them to make sure and sent them off. Phoned again this morning and the pictures have been denied again!! This time a very nice lady told us that they sent a letter to us about it but the letter won't arrive until next week. Not sure if it will tell us why?? Anyway does anyone have a recommendation for a place to get them done in Calgary that knows what they are doing or has dealt with Immigration pictures? We couldn't see anything wrong with them and the photo place thought they were fine. Just so frustrated!! Thanks

Contact your MP...its that simple...by pass CIC and if you don't hear from anyone within a week contact the Immigration Minister...

We are still waiting for my partner's PR card since landing in early June (problems with 2 sets of photos we sent it). We went through our MP last week who followed up with Immigration. Apparently there is something weird going on with PR cards and Immigration actually refused to give the MP's office any information about why there is a delay. It sounds like they won't be making any PR cards until 15 December.

I find it completely ridiculous that they won't give any information even to the MP.......and I just cannot wrap my head about how it takes any longer than a couple of days to make a PR card. I have lived in 4 other countries (including EU countries) which all issued ID cards within a couple of weeks at the most.

The system is really messed up...I am not kidding...you have case managers that work their butts off and then you have others that manage to stay under the radar.....Our file was not touched for 9 month ( have case notes to show not a single thing was done) and when we finally got to the PR being issued point there was a 41 day waiting period, husbands card to around 63 days...not sure why there was a three week extension but that is how broken systems work...Hang in there...Its a pain but it will come...I found that once we contacted MP things happened...I am not sure they really do anything but it sends a red flag that people are not putting up with it...

Hi friends,

How they communicate if the pictures are not correct for PR cards, do they send an email in our cic profile or they send a mail to our address ?
I am not able to link the PR cards with my cic profile..
Any suggestions will help..
