Well I emailed buffalo again to make sure they had the right email address on file, they didn't confirm that but the sent me a B file number now too. Last time all I had was an F file number... so maybe that's something? Or not. I dunno.

Our address has disappeared for the 2nd time now. I got all excited with the ECAS update. BLAH!

*SIGH* anyone know how long it takes to get caips notes if you email the request? I keep checking my credit card to see if they've charged the 5 bucks, but no deal yet.

WHY DON'T WE EVER GET UPDATES!!!!! BOOOO! How do you email a Caips notes request? I have the forms all filled out I just haven't sent them anywhere, keep hoping that it won't be neccessary.

I had a years worth of skype chat history, it was 2700 pages, I took it into Word, and put it into columns and shrunk the font down to like 8pt, and then took out all the crap and just left a few lines from each day. I got it down to I think around 100 pages double sided, way more than anyone...

Yup me too... We put our application in FIRST and ours still just says application received, I did get a response to an email inquiry that we are infact in process, but other than the generic email, nothing else since April 7th. Except the random missing address for a few days.

I emailed the office the other day, and I got a response in less than 24 hours that my application is in process and that no further documentation is needed at this time, and they gave me a file number. To this day I have no received any other communication from them except the sponsorship...

Soooo anyone with the "newer" system experience. Our ecas changed to application received by Buffalo on April 7th, and since then we've heard nothing. No emails, no letters, nothing. is this normal? I thought you were supposed to get a file number or something. Anyone know?

My ecas wasn't updated for about a week after approval. So my sponsorship approval letter was dated March 29. Buffalo updated ecas to say they received my application on April 7th. I don't think you need to worry yet.
