PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

When you logged into your CIC online application, on the summary page, the Status says something like "Application Updated". When you check the application there is no changes to it, no updates whatsoever. Then when you go back to the summary page, it goes back to saying "Submitted". That's a...

PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

Thank you so much & I wish you, and everyone here the same! Yes, a total of 5 months from AOR to PPR, 152 days precisely. My reasoning to land in April is exactly that, the weather will be better and more conducive to moving around. I am also divided between ON and BC, haven't finalized yet!

How do u cover the unemployed time period in your EE profile

Honestly, I don't see a reason why a gap in employment will be grounds for refusal, after all they have set the criteria and you are qualifying as per that. So the gap should not mean anything. Additionally, misrepresentation according to me is a big risk - you lie on your application and if...

How do u cover the unemployed time period in your EE profile

I don't think there is any problem at all.. I have several gaps in my work history and haven't been working for the last 7 months now. There was no issue in the processing as I meet the required criteria to qualify as FSW. Just make sure that 1. When you are filling the application, all time...

Validity of Indian Police Clearance Certificate - Is this true?

Agreed - in the case where the applicant is not residing in India (or any country for that matter where stay was over 6 months after turning 18), even if the PCC has expired, it can be included in the application, if there is not enough time to get a fresh one. The officer may ask for a fresh...

Validity of Indian Police Clearance Certificate - Is this true?

Hi, I am not sure if it has got anything to do with returning to India and staying there - from what I have read on various forums, a PCC is valid for six months from the date of issue.

My profile still says we do not need your biometrics. It depends on the Country - like applicants from India didn't need to submit biometrics till very recently. I don't think any August AOR applicant from India would have received a request for biometric before Security.
