I did that and after long wait I got an email that my application was received on Jun 24 (not in process) and an email AOR was sent. I never got email AOR though. I had to call them to get my C000 #.

The real unlucky people would those who are eligible just in time before implementation of 4/6 rule and applied with a small mistake. Their applications would be returned and they would wait for may be another year to re-apply. Really really unlucky are the ones whose applications are lost for...

They should know some one in first place to forget. They don't know us. My guess is email AOR applicants may get their process done close to a year.

As Leon said if you keep RO precise to days needed that may call for trouble. Answering your question your boarding time of your international flight is your exit time. Until then you just traveled from your city to another Canadian city. But if you have traveled to USA it could be different...
