RPRF request on 5 August through sending email to visa office. Received confirmation that receipt was transferred to the finance team (26 August). No updates on cic account whatsoever. The RPRF request said eligibility passed, so I'm kind of happy I didn't pay RPRF upfront. Hope to hear some...

I would recommend using Airbnb. You can find a private room, an apartment or a condo. Find some place with good reviews and it's really safe.

    PPR after RPRF payment?

Digging out some on the older threads, I was wondering if anyone has any clues what the trend is these day for PPR after RPRF? Sounds like it is not as quick as it used to be last year ( PPR in a matter of days) and people have waited for 2-3 months to see any change after payment? Any thoughts?

where to send passport when applied from India

I would recommend you do as they say and Let them get back to you before sending your passport anywhere. They will send you proper instructions in a matter of days. By the way, how come you received the email from the Ottawa CPC. ( I assume from your post that you are an outland applicant so...

Upfront medical exams for Express Entry

I would think the most important thing to have in mind is the validity of the medical test. To do it after you have an ITA will give you more confidence that your medical would still be valid by the time CIC reaches a decision. My two cents...

10 days if you send the receipt via a CSE. I had to do it as I didn't have the option to attach documents on my CIC. Open Work Permit at the Point of Entry in Canada!

From CIC website: Most visitors to Canada cannot work or study in Canada without a permit. If you are visiting Canada and you want to work or study, you have a few options if you still have legal status in Canada. For a new work permit, you can apply: from your home country or another country...

    LMIA application processing time?

The later is free while the former has a $1000 fee. Dual intent LMIA, if positive, will enable the applicant to apply for a work permit while waiting for their PR. I believe only an employer is able to apply as only they can provide all the documents required.
