where to send passport when applied from India

Hi Guys,
need quick information. I received email from CIC that the PR application processing is almost completed and asked to send the passport to ottawa address. but also mentioned that -

"If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, or if you are unable to submit the required documentation for you or your accompanying family members to the addresses below, please send an email to us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can send you instructions for submitting your documents to a visa office which is the most convenient for you. Please note that our office will not return passports to an address outside North America."

I have sent them email 3 days back but got no response. Can someone tell me where to send the passport? Hopefully it will be to some delhi address, but can I send it directly or has to wait for their official response? Need urgent guidance as time is less.

I would recommend you do as they say and Let them get back to you before sending your passport anywhere. They will send you proper instructions in a matter of days.

By the way, how come you received the email from the Ottawa CPC. ( I assume from your post that you are an outland applicant so how come you haven't got a local VO dealing with your case? Surprising...)

to be precise with the mail content, here is the wording -

If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, or if you are unable to submit the required documentation for you or your accompanying family members to the addresses below, please send an email to us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can send you instructions for submitting your documents to a visa office which is the most convenient for you. Please note that our office will not return passports to an address outside North America.
If you have a mailing address in Canada:
- The self-addressed, pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:
CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

The mail has come from -
Case Processing Centre – Ottawa
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
Government of Canada

It's been a week now that I have sent them email and also submitted case specific inquiry, but i have still not received any update from CIC on where to send the package in India.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Its better to wait for the reply before submitting your passports. Ideally if you are currently in India you should be sending the passport to Consulate in New Delhi via VFS India
