Thank you for reply. Before, when PR card didn't exist, we needed a Canadian passport to enter US by air and citizenship card to enter US by land. I guess the rules have changed.

What if the parents are old, live on pension and don't have #1, #2 and #4 ? The don't even have to bother applying?
