I guess as long as you reside in BC, meaning you have a residence address, and drivers license, utility bills, billing addresses etc with this address, you will be fine. But just my 2 cents and Im not a professional

Quitting the job (and even divorce) does not affect your spouse’s SOWP. The rule is when a WP is granted, it is valid until its expiry. Your spouse won’t be able to extend the WP but the original validity is in effect.

I believe you can just apply for visitor visa for your child. The local school board will take care of the enrollment with your proof of address. You can also confirm this with the school board you intend to go to
