Question: when u receive a passport request is that an indicator of a decision made?

Wow ! Interesting article ... Lets just all pray that the immigration officers in NDVO have open eyes and clear common sense when making these decisions. BTW - I really like the idea of the surprise visits to determine if indeed the relationship is genuine. Maybe they could also request letters...

Just a note : I also had to sponor my adopted child 10 years back therefore they had already had a "file" on me from then . So I had a UCI number already, now the spouses file in is in NDVO I see he's been issues his own number .

Yes , just now I checked and the e-cas was updated and says "application received" and additionally says " medical report received" i am so relieved that it wasn't lost in the confusion!!! Now waiting for what ? Anybody know what comes next? Passport request?

Yes indeed they are "online" now I would think you are fine ! But the medical exam was not included on the original application we submitted there for CPC Mississauga requested that he get it done ASAP , but every panel physician said my husband was not in there "system" ?? But we had letter...

Omgosh! That is very good news, for the applicant that recieved the PRV that quickly ! They must be soooo happy! I kinda wish there was a reality show about these happy reunions!
