I understand how you fill, this is really unfair decision from CIC, but I think you should consider re-applying. It would be cheaper, faster and if you apply now, you have enough time to receive aor and to apply for BOWP. Be noticed - or would not be easy to force CIC to change their decision...

1. CIC does not promise that new WP will be approved before current WP expires. If current WP expires before new WP is approved than you enters "implied status" which mean that you can continue to work without formal WP until decision on your application is made or until you're leaving Canada...

If you cannot get "teaching" in your reference letter for NOC 4011, you most probably will be refused (there are several cases here on the forum). I would advise to check NOC for biochemist (NOC 2112 Chemists). Make sure your ref. letter has enough duties to match most of the duties listed for...

In my case it took 5 days (including weekend) between CC charge to AOR email. Don't worry - AOR emails are sent by automatic system once application is received by processing center in Ottawa.

If you're living and working outside of QC now, than providing rent contract and employer letter would be enough I guess. Otherwise it will hard to prove your intention to live outside of QC.

What new rule you're talking about? They didn't asked me for additional proofs when rejected my application based on ref. letter last September.

There is no such thing "visitor visa" for citizens of "visa exempt" countries. CIC would not issue it to me...

I don't have such expire data in my passport. When I arrived, I told to the border officer that the reason of arrival is Work and showed him a WP letter from consulate. He stamped my passport with date of entry and forwarded me to the CIC officer. Since then I reapplied 3 times for WP extension...
