    Landing while living in Canada

Hello, Sorry, but I have lots of questions. :o When I land I will flagpole at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing. I have already been living in Canada for the past 2 years. Do I have to declare anything that I originally brought with me to Canada? When I land I won't have any personal...

JANUARY 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

I had the same two lines for 2 months after I got SA and my file was transferred to Ottawa. It was a long wait with no ecas updates. As long as it has started processing then you know it's at the VO. Ottawa doesn't usually send out AOR2.

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

You should receive an email or in the mail a letter stating the Sponsor was approved. It will go to the Sponsor's email if you put an email address on the application. Check the spam email. This letter will tell you which Visa office the PR application was transferred to. Once you see that...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

My COPR has the expiration of Sept 19, 2016. I did my medical on Sept 9, 2015. I wonder if the difference in the dates means that CIC rec'd the results on Sept 19, 2015. I thought that was strange. Who knows, right? LOL

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Ohhh...I just thought the whole quote wasn't included when jmacd11 posted the quote. I understand what you are saying. I didn't mean to start up anything. I do think that sometimes the way things are worded can be taken the wrong way. I try to be open minded to everyone. I knew what Tolexmi was...

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Oh okay, I didn't know there was a way to tell if someone modified a post. The post below is the only one that I had seen. How can you tell if it was changed? What original quote are you referring to? I have now learned that "PPR" stands for Passport request OR Passport photocopy request. I...

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Yes, I had DM and then received my COPR a few days later. I am from the US. I never received a request for passport photocopies. I am not sure the reason why some need to send and others do not.

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Here is the whole answer from Tolexmi: "If your country is visa exempt to Canada, then there wont be a need for PPR. U might only get a email asking for copies of passport and not send the passport itself. eCas will change to DM, and you will get your CoPR". So your husband did receive an...

DECEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Some people who are from visa exempt countries are not requested to send in copies of their passport and they go from DM to receiving their COPR. "PPR" is "Passport Request", which usually means you have to send in the actual passport. I haven't seen instances where the term "PPR" is used for...

Wow, sounds pretty easy. I am going to land in April, hopefully that first Saturday. I will land at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing, by Niagara Falls. Landing

Cool beans!! I just have seen long lists of things you need. I know that I need to have the B4 form. I will have a bunch of boxes shipped later. I have a detailed inventory list of those items. I can just attach the list to the B4 form right? Do I need to come up with a dollar amount that it's...

    Landing

Hey Canuck_in_uk, I am going to be landing via the Rainbow bridge by Niagara Falls also. I am a US Citizen, do I still need to tell the US border agent that I am flagpoling? Also, can we hang out in Buffalo for a bit and then go back through to Canada, or do we need to turn right around? I...
