Question for people out there who have already received first stage approval...did it say your medical results were received before you actually had approval, mine were sent last summer but it doesn't appear in ecas.

Hey Guys, I am getting so antsy, I want to call CIC every few hours to see if there is decision made but I think I may force myself to wait until Wednesday and see what date they post and then maybe I will call. I don't think I can make it another week it feels so close now!

Whiteapple don't fret, I am Sept. 13 and still have not heard anything either. If you have checked the CIC website recently they are processing applications submitted on or After Sept. 7th, our time is coming VERY VERY soon....we may even hear by the end of day tomorrow or early next week!

Just called CIC they were able to confirm that I was approved for a CSQ and that they are communicating via email during the postal strike, so have no fear if your information is with Immigration QC and they approve you Immigration Canada will receive the appropriate info in a timely manner!

Just called CIC....no AIP Today. BUT they have started communicating internally via e-mail and they were able to tell me that I received my CSQ. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this adventure ends soon!

Well I would love to see 15 days...because it means they would pass my day and I would hear things shortly....although instead of getting too hopeful and optimistic I will hope for 7-10 days (which would still be AWESOME)!

I'm starting to get really really antsy. After seeing someone who applied on Sept. 9th receive info last week I can help but think when my time will be up. I had to apply through Quebec so i am still waiting for my CSQ, but since there is no mail service I won't even know when it is...

We too only received one letter to continue with MICC...should we be concerned?

I applied on Sept 13, but still haven't heard anything from MICC. I guess I will have to hear from them before I hear from Federal, hopefully everything will happen before Canada Day!

Received request from CIC to continue with QC...the forms have been sent off via UPS today hopefully we'll hear about AIP by the end of the month (fingers and toes crossed)!

Sent it UPS...as to avoid Canada Post, I hope this strike doesn't make too much of a mess!

Crazylucy, sorry they weren't more of a help for you. I have originally called and asked about a week ago when I should expect to see a letter to continue with MICC and they said 2-4 weeks and then it showed up a few days later. As you said maybe I just ended up with a fast IO. I am not sure...

Interesting, yeah I would def recommend contacting them.
