No, they are not entertaining transit visa as of now. I wonder why people are not opting for Ethiopia, Ukraine or Egypt. Do they have very strict visa rules or is there any other reason. Ethiopia is currently facing civil unrest that i Know.

Almost in similar situation, medical expired on 11th July, planned to travel in August 1st week. Upfront medical done again on 3rd July so that it get updated by that time.

Why would someone take that route when airlines are accepting the bookings from Delhi to Toronto from 1st August and no body knows if Canada will suspend the direct flights from India after 21st July. I think its better to wait till 21st and then make your booking accordingly.

We are not the only one, there are many students who are in same situation and they are spending couple of lakhs to reach Canada. That too if they test covid negative in third country. And reason they give is that they are not sure what Canadian government decide regarding travel restrictions...
