Okay that makes sense. But it seems like my husband's application for pr is not linked to his GCKey. Previously I tried to link it, but I was told by immigration that if I do that then it would remove my lawyer as the use of representative for my husband's application.

On my husband's police certificate letter, it states that he needs to upload his police certificate receipt into his MyCIC account. Is this referring to the GCkey account? My lawyer is the representative for his application, so I'm not sure how or where we are supposed to upload it. ***...

I got the same error as well. I used this link yesterday and it seemed to work https://tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login but when I tried accessing the link today, it wasn't working again. Not sure what's happening. I will call IRCC tomorrow to find out what's going wrong.

There are no definitive timelines unfortunately. Some get it soon, others get it after a lengthy period. If your application is still within the processing time, all you can do is wait.

Have you contacted a lawyer yet? They can help you out with a writ of mandamus. This is essentially used to ask the courts to order IRCC to make a decision on your file quickly if it has exceeded the normal processing times...

Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I think you're right, there is no cause for concern. Weighing this against all of the other evidence that my spouse and I submitted (we submitted a lot), I think we should be fine.

Have you received the sponsorship approval letter yet? The visa office would be indicated in the letter.

Well I don't have access to ECAS, but you can also locate your visa office in your sponsorship approval letter. It would say in the letter "the application for permanent residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in _____ (visa office name) for further processing."
