On my husband's police certificate letter, it states that he needs to upload his police certificate receipt into his MyCIC account. Is this referring to the GCkey account? My lawyer is the representative for his application, so I'm not sure how or where we are supposed to upload it.

*** Online/e-App clients: Upload a copy of your Fiji Police Certificate receipt (issued by the Fiji Police) into your
MyCIC account as evidence your certificate has been applied for. Results of your Fiji Police Certificate will be
uploaded into your application by the Visa Office Sydney on your behalf.

Mycic is what is referred here as gckey.

The GCKey is a digital authentication tool implemented by the Canadian government, granting users secure access to multiple online governmental services. That's why in official correspondence they will refer to the actual service.

Okay that makes sense. But it seems like my husband's application for pr is not linked to his GCKey. Previously I tried to link it, but I was told by immigration that if I do that then it would remove my lawyer as the use of representative for my husband's application.

Then it's your representative's job to upload it.
I called IRCC and they advised me that the receipt can be uploaded to a webform and can be submitted by either myself, my spouse or our lawyer. I already sent it to them.
