guys..i wanted to ask about pre marriage part of the application. i am having a arranged marriage and we both live in different countries and we wont be talking to one another before marriage due to religious reasons. Could this be an issue ? and if so, how can we counter it?

Guys did anyone use DHL/Fedex to send PR card? Any issues ? DHL ppl said it was fine and that i will just need to declare a nominal value as the card has a chip in it and it will be physically inspected. I plan to send the card to UAE.

bump! i called dhl in UAE and in canada and they said its fine. As the card has a chip, it will be physically inspected by the customs. Has anyone send the card outside canada ?

its taking 2 months on avg..so you should be getting some update by this week. other than that...jst keep calling and find out. Are you in Canada at the moment or outside? if still in canada, then just wait till you get any update or till the card comes.

Ghost update means that your status will change to "updated" and when you open the details it will show no changed and the status goes back to "submitted". There was no email from cic until i got my status changed to approved.
