I am sorry to hear it. But maybe use this as a life lesson not to ignore all the signs because of your emotion.

Am I eligible to sponsor my sister?

Hi everyone, I sponsored my parents on Jan 2, 2015. They just landed in Canada last month. I have a sister that was over 18 by that time, so she could not be added to the file. Based on this link...

    add-on public policy

I don't think you can do that, they look at the rules at the time of application submission (i.e. at that time, defendant age limit was 18, not 21). Someone correct me if i am wrong please

Parents Sponsorship - Stop Immigration Lottery

This is pretty simple math, i don't get why people can't understand it. If you do FIFO without a cap, each year we will have around 100K applications (more or less), and Canada has a quota of 10K-15K PGP PRs per year. Even assuming we start from scratch, that will require 8-10 years to clear...

Parents Sponsorship - Stop Immigration Lottery

Maybe you should leave your crazy thoughts to yourself. Mike is absolutely right, why would majority of Canadians want to pay from their pocket (tax) for bringing a bunch of old people in country that mostly don’t contribute to the economy? Btw, i myself sponsored my parents and still think this...

Parents Sponsorship - Stop Immigration Lottery

First, not stuck here, love it here. Second, please pack your bag and leave if you are not happy, no one begging you to stay. Third, educate yourself a bit by researching and seeing how PGP was in 2015 for example, local couriers were charging hundreds of dollars to go line up early. By the...

    Documents needed for sponsoring parents

Glad you liked it, You should read my first reply to him too! I don't get along with freeloaders (e.g. people expecting we tax payers pay for their parents' excessive medical expenses) and people expecting to get information spoon feed to them (e.g. people who don't even try to read the...

    Documents needed for sponsoring parents

What's wrong with you? Why do you ask the same question 500 times? Why don't you read the requirements yourself rather than wanting everything to be spoon fed to you? These are some of the answers / repeated threads you made...

    Parents' PR

Thanks canuck. Any answer for these? 3) someone suggested to take pictures of all their goods and belongings that they ever want to bring to Canada. Also suggested to translate all their house ownership docs, is that required? 4) if they are just coming to land and stay for 2 weeks and go...

    Parents' PR

Hey everyone, Just a couple of question. My parents got their PGP approved and got their visa. They initially want to do landing and stay here for 2 weeks and then return back to their home country to prepare for the move. 1) if they apply for PR and use my address, can I pick up their PR...
