Might as well chip in this thread while I'm waiting. Passport sent via VFS Global Dubai on 5th May. Received the standard "passport is being processed" email the next day. Still waiting & my application still hasn't updated yet.

Every case is different but my additional documents stayed the same as yours up until I received the PPR email.

Is anyone else is still waiting for COPR & Passports other than me and @bbq_g3? I know @sidroy09 & @HKV already got it, while @CANPRI, @saurez7777, and @hrishikeshrs seems to have 'ghosted' on us after PPR. :p Getting a bit impatient so raised an inquiry to IRCC and VFS just for any status...

Simply by researching and then choosing a city based on the availability of jobs in my field. Everything else is secondary to finding employment first, if it happens to align with some other nice things, then hey, bonus!

I always receive acknowledgement/confirmation on the same day, but then again all my notes were ordered through CAIPS GCM. I'm guessing it depends on their workload or their available resources. Have not had this issue personally, so I'm not certain about the waiting period. However, it's good...

By the way, did anyone else see the new notice in the IRCC sign in page saying they will be requesting biometric data starting from July? Wonder if it applies to everyone, including existing PRs.

Sounds good! Have a read through it, but you should be focusing on the Assessments part, as well as the officer notes/updates near the end of the reports.

I actually got another PPR email not too long after the initial one. Strange isn't it? o_O The people at the VFS global office saw both and asked around for a while before deciding to take the latest one. Don't know what to think of that!

Hey guys, I just received my PPR and trying to figure out the best way to send my passport over to Ottawa. My first instinct is to go to the VFS center in Dubai, has anyone had any experience going through them?
