Hello everyone. Is there a general consensus on doing an upfront medical vs. waiting until after ITA and IRCC instructions? Provided that you're fairly sure of an ITA in the coming draw AND that the medical is good for an entire year, there shouldn't be any reason to wait, should there?

The good news: My ECA was completed exactly on time (29th Sep) :) And to answer my own question, it didn't matter to them that my name was slightly different on the transcript. Though they did make a note about it in the report. I suppose I will have to write a letter or something to explain...

Yes, that was the option I was thinking about. Hopefully you can get a reply from WES soon. It seems the process time for each stage varies widely for each applicant, even those who submit on similar dates.

Did your package have a tracking number? I was able to confirm that it reached them by pasting the tracking number on the WES page (i cant remember where exactly, but the option is there) and it confirmed it was delivered even while I was waiting for them to update the status.
