Have any Ottawa applicants from May-July 2014 timeframe seen "Decision made" wording on e-cas ? I see this new topic on that theme posted and wondered if you guys in Ottawa have seen any such eCAS update reflected for you?

the FP request is odd. I am guessing you have a name that matches someone else's ane so they are doing a verification check or something? How bizzare though..the way she announced it. although she seems to have said the FP request could be a "might get" ..does not that you may not? No family...

looks like they have become very firm and stubborn about not giving out info. :-X :-X. one agent also said something like I am being monitored so I just cannot go into (access) a file unless it's been over 24 months etc etc...

I think this may also be a factor of how they can schedule various Cit judges from other places to come down to do a whole bunch of ceremonies since Ottawa lost its own Citz judge a while back if I remember since the person passed away. So looks like the only option they have is to bring down...

ilkar, I don't understand why when you sent them everything incl. translations originally with your application, they send you CIT0520 some weeks after test ? You mentioned something about visiting family who work with/for UN. Maybe it is where they are based for the UN - such as maybe Mid...

ilkar, When you did the test and had interview - - how did that go ? So, they gave you CIT0520 some weeks later? I am guessing you didn't expect it right? and what is your local office.

I recall someone else on here saying they didn't receive the CIC AOR email (which also has your Application no on it) and so they followed up and then were sent the email with their application no...something like that.

Udi, Looks like you applied sometime in 2013 or much before July 2014 ? Also, are you saying you initially (i.e. with your original application) provided a full copy of your passport and after RQ they are ONLY now asking for translation of stamps ? YOu didn't provide translation earlier with RQ ?

Hi Venecolano, are you either a Family Class applicant or someone with few trips outside or from a visa exempt country ? Not many Ottawa applicants from July- Aug 2014 are reporting test invite ?

Tamara_, Did you do it in Ottawa ? Someone else on here made an observation about their officer being an immigrant herself and "seeming" tough and mean but maybe one reads too much. Where was your officer from ?

OK, for starters....we have seen that Family applications are definitely prioritized over Single applicants... guess waiting is the name of the game...and taking one's mind off this by doing other things....
