Hey guys, I never received my AOR letter and I'm getting concerned I might have missed something. Does the AOR letter have any interview invites, dates or any request for any actions at all?
This is my timeline on ECAS:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 13, 2015.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 17, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on April 21, 2015.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Its a standard email that states your application number and the link to discover canada book and some more information.
It does not have any test date.
As you can access e-cas, it means that your application is already "In Process". You may call the call centre at 1-888-242-2100 to confirm if they can resend the AOR.

Also check your junk email folder to see if you have received the AOR. If you have photocopy of your application then check that to see if you have mentioned your email address correctly or not.

I recall someone else on here saying they didn't receive the CIC AOR email (which also has your Application no on it) and so they followed up and then were sent the email with their application no...something like that.

Actually I received the AOR email, just wondering if there was a letter sent by mail also and if it had anything different on it (Their phrasing clearly implies it's a physical letter "Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.")
Thoughts?

The AoR letter that used to be sent is now the email. There will be no letter mailed out all relevant instructions in the email is pretty much it, next you can keep checking ECAS for when your app goes to 'In Process' after which you will get a snail mail for Test once you see a line in ECAS stating file has been transferred to local office.

No, if you have received the AOR by email, you won't receive AOR by letter-mail (physical mail). If everything goes smoothly, you will receive test invite by physical letter-mail.

The people who receive paper AOR(physical mail) (not email AOR), usually get the following line added to e-cas:

"We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on xxxxxxx date. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Just to add, when you get your test and oath notices, verify that the dates/times match those on ecas. If it doesn't call the CIC call centre. My oath notice had a different time from that which was on ecas (difference of 2 hrs). I was advised to show up for the earlier time to be on the safe side.
