Responding to such requests is the job they are hired to provide value in! Some of us who have requested such notes have found them helpful; it is not for you to decide that for us. If you don't find them helpful, that's fine; but don't generalize to others.

If you look at the GCMS notes now, you will see that it has all the information on physical presence, and GCMS notes are obtained by just looking at the computer records. So why would anyone need to look at the paper application?

Only partly true, I think. There is information that does not require accessing original paper application. For example, if the fie is "test ready" (and even the applicant can see this by just looking at the sketchy GCMS notes), then there is no reason to delay the test for 2018/2019...

What Canada says it stands for and what it actually stands for are two very different things.

I think in the new tracker they just changed everything they could to "In Progress", other than "oath", for obvious reasons, just to fool people into thinking that things are happening.
