@sentraj any updates? It’ll be a month in the next few days. Wondering how much time it takes after test and background completion to get the next update. It seems like our next update might come along with other January candidates as normal processing.

Sorry I have no idea. I haven’t seen any consistencies in the timelines that I have seen so far.

It just shows as received as an update on your account. Hope yours gets done next week!

Update: My FPs were received yesterday and my background is updated to Completed today. (My test and background are both Complete now.)

Sorry I have no idea if that is a possibility. One would imagine there being a process where our files go back to their original “queue” after being refused UP, rather than being processed because it caught the attention of an officer who assessed it for a UP request. But who knows how they...

Usually they send an email informing you that your request was forwarded to the appropriate department (something like that). It does not contain information about rejection or acceptance of urgent processing. But if it is accepted you should see updates soon after that email.

Yeah it seems like it takes approximately 3 weeks from the date you submit your FPs at the agency. So I’m thinking maybe around Oct 5-10?

It depends. When was your AOR? Usually everyone gets that email and that doesn’t necessarily mean your urgent processing request was accepted. If you recently applied and your background check is already complete, then yeah that would mean they accepted your request.

Hey yes I took the test this morning with 20/20 score. I thoroughly read Discover Canada 3 times (made short notes, underlined important things, etc.) I didn’t do any practice tests but for most people those are really helpful too. When are you planning to take the test?

Hey do you mind me asking what the test was like? How specific do the questions get, especially with history dates and years?
