Hey! I have a couple questions if you don’t mind - how do you know when IRCC receives fingerprints from RCMP? Also, did you get a test invite while waiting for this? I mean it does take approximately a month for the whole FP process, I wonder if they schedule the test during this time or no.

Gotcha. I submitted mine today. It looks like it takes a few weeks for RCMP to mail the FPs to IRCC. My request came from Vancouver (I’m in Toronto). So I’m guessing our urgent processing will be delayed by approximately a month because of FP.

I called them yesterday to check if my UP was approved or not and they said “according to the notes, the criteria was met.” So I asked them if they had any idea on when the next update was going to be and they said “maybe in a week or 2”. I have a similar case. Online application AOR March 6 UP requested August 12. Ghost update 1 on Sept 7 Ghost update 2 on Sept 9 Nothing after that

Update - Ghost update on Sept 7 and then another one today, Sept 9. Nothing has changed, no emails. *sorry missed an important detail. I applied for urgent processing on August 12. I have no idea if it was accepted or rejected.

Seeing some progress for online applications in October 2021 tracker.

I submitted my driver’s license as my ID when I applied in January and it expired this month. I think it should still be okay, but do you guys think I should submit the webform or something to provide my renewed ID?

Looking at previous months it seems like their main focus is paper applications. There’s not much movement on online applications. Tbh I wish I had done some research before applying online and should have applied paper. Now being 3 months into this process, don’t think switching is a good idea...
