Hi all,

My application was submitted end of January.

I received citizenship test last week. They asked me to complete the test within 19th September to 10th October. I took the test on the 19th September and the results show pass. When I log in to my citizenship status website, I am still seeing the Citizenship Test is in progress. I am wondering how long usually would that changed to the next stage?

Thanks!

Takes from 2 days up to 30 days to update. They’ll review the video recording and the id in step 6 to proceed ahead.
These days it’s going bit faster if you gave test from within Canada

Hello all,
I applied online on Jan 05, 2022, received AOR feb 25.
I logged in today and saw that my bgc is completed on Sep 14th.
When can i expect a test invite? do people get an email notification once there is an update on your account or should we periodically check our online account?
Thanx
There is no fixed timeline but i have not seen it happening for at least 2-3 weeks after bgc

do you have tips to prepare for the test? Any websites to do practice tests? I haven't received a test invite yet but want to ready
Take a practice test, read the discover canada book, cover to cover 2 times including the fine print. Then get back to practice tests and keep doing till you are scoring above 17
Language of test is fairly complex as compared to the precise tests but it’s simple and also interesting to read. Things in the book are one you should know as Canadian citizen
