Yes, next step is ideally COPR if you are inland. When you'll receive it is anybody's guess.

Call them 9AM EST sharp. Their lines become busy afterwards. Although, last I had called was months back and I don't know if it's different now.

Sometimes they extend it in the background without reflecting on the website. Some people have seen the same in their GCMS notes. Since you don't have that kind of time, you could ask IRCC through a webform.

    PPR delays due to covid-19

Assuming this email was for everyone who got the glitch mail, I wonder why I didn't receive this clarification mail. Not that it matters.

    PPR delays due to covid-19

I have seen such requests on the forum before and I think you've reached the final leg. Just update your new address as is, don't think there should be any problem.

You'd have to inform IRCC using a webform. They would respond back with a list of documents/actionables required from you. You'd have to get a passport for the newborn.

That would be a risky move since passport could be misplaced or get delayed in being returned back to you. You'd have to wait to hear back from IRCC to be sure. As far as I know, people in the US have been sending their passports to Ottawa for further processing and not to a VAC centre.

If I've learnt anything in the past few months, it's that there are no defined timelines at least at the moment and it's futile to predict anything.

I guess it's uncommon to not have background verifications started so late into the process, but things are pretty erratic nowadays. The good thing is at least your eligibility is met which is the toughest nut. The rest will just happen when things start moving hopefully, alongwith the rest of...
