Generally when they extend medicals, it shows in the profile as 'passed' again. However, like I said, sometimes they might extend medicals in the background without the profile reflecting it. A sure way to know the exact status would be to ask IRCC via webform/call or order GCMS notes.

Mine changed the very next day of validity of medical, so can't say for sure.

It doesn't get extended automatically, but at the officer's discretion, either renewed for a max of 1 year or asked for remedical. In a few cases, they did extend medical in the background without any reflection on the application portal. You could give it some time and then call IRCC/check...

I raised about a month ago now and still no reply. Let's keep each other posted if there's a response at somebody's end.

Initially thought Ottawa would soon follow suit from other Canadian VOs who started rolling out PRs since Oct last year, not to mention international VOs. But now, I'm not making any guesses. :(

There seems to be some movement happening in Ottawa, at least with respect to inland cases. A few got approved in the last few days.

My medicals expired a little over a week back when I had a GU. Had another GU again yesterday, but nothing changed in the profile (no sign of medical extension).

I had a GU along with the change as you mentioned, could have been a technical glitch as they're clearly updating the portal.

Did you guys receive a ghost update along with it?

Small update. Just checked my account and saw that medicals expired today. I guess it automatically expires after the validity date.

This is exactly true. Checking account daily was the opposite of dopamine release for me, so I stopped doing that. Still hopeful that it'd work out eventually but I don't get riled up seeing no movement in my file anymore.
