November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

COPR came today. I’ve called CIC to book an appointment and now I’ve just got to wait for a call back. If I’ve not heard anything by the 14th I’ll probably go to the border and cross - road trip!

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

In your case you’re just landing normally at the airport. Nice and easy!

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

Yes, I’m already here under dual intent. Flagpoling is the act of going to the border and then asking the US for administrative denial, you turn back around and land at the Canadian border. I’ll be completing a soft landing in Edmonton at one of CIC’s offices once they provide me with an...

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

If you want to land at CIC office you need to book an appointment. If you call from within Canada you can get them to call you rather than wait in line.

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

If it’s Xpresspost I see no reason why you wouldn’t be able to track it via the app. Mine just came, waiting for someone to call me back now.

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

Are you using Fedex for that? If so you should be able to track it all on their app?

    **----January 2019 Outland Application----**

You get an email and GCKEY update to show approved for the final decision. When you send the PPR, they ask you to also send a return envelope (if in Canada this is Xpresspost) I used the tracking for both PPR and COPR via the app and it activated last night. It’s now out for delivery :D

I’m going to tag some extra stuff on to it for a new thread and then put it on the Tracker page to highlight the process to those who are unsure.

GCKEY updated to approved today. Now just to wait for the return tracker to update. I’m assuming it’ll be tomorrow.

Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

I was expecting 1-2 weeks after doing a little research before sending it off. I’ve come over from the family sponsorship section of the forum as there’s very little data available for PPRs going to Ottawa there - probably the only downfall of being in Canada under duel intent :p

Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

Mine was also delivered on the 16th. Looking at the link below and data from this thread not many have received approved status from the 16th yet. I’d assume the holiday played a factor in this and reckon most will get approved today/tomorrow...

Mine is my full name in bold underneath my address then again underneath it says: Dear [First Name, middle name, last name]. Has any other documentation from IRC had the names the wrong way around for you? You don’t send the PPR off just Annex A, Passport / copies and two more pics. So...
